Feel Balance ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the Feel Balance mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data to provide our services:
- Account Data: Name and email address provided during registration.
- Health & Fitness Data: Workout activity, exercise history, fitness goals, step counts, and physical stats (weight, height, age) that you enter or allow us to track.
- User Content: Profile photos, community posts, and any content you upload or share within the app.
- Marketplace Data: Booking requests, merchant interactions, and service preferences.
- Location Data: Approximate (coarse) location used to show nearby gyms and coaches in the marketplace — only when you grant permission.
- Device & Usage Data: Device identifiers, app usage patterns, and interaction data used to improve the app experience.
- Push Notification Tokens: Device tokens to deliver workout reminders and app notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and personalise your fitness plan, AI coaching, and workout tracking.
- Connect you with gyms, coaches, and marketplace services in your area.
- Send workout reminders and progress notifications (you can opt out anytime).
- Improve app features, fix bugs, and analyse usage trends.
- Ensure account security and prevent fraud.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: Hosting (servers), analytics, and push notification services that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Marketplace Merchants: When you book a service, relevant booking details are shared with the merchant.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect rights and safety.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 7).

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your data.
7. Children's Privacy
Feel Balance is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
8. Third-Party Services
The app uses OpenAI's API to power AI coaching features. Data sent to OpenAI is governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy. We do not share identifiable personal data with OpenAI.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
